Vanessa Wright

Hi! I’m a creative producer with experience in small galleries, festivals and grass roots creative spaces. I’m interested in producing events and programs that are immersive, experimental in content or form and examine what is critical now. I have experience producing events that are site specific, community focused and participatory.

I’ve been a producer for organisations and festivals including Melbourne Fringe Festival, Darwin Festival, Liveworks Festival of Experimental Art, Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres and for 3 years co-directed You Are Here Festival in Canberra. Currently I’m the Program Producer for Darwin Festival.

I’m also one of the founding members of Lady Producer Gang, an emerging collective of female producers. LPG were participants in the 2017-2018 Next Wave Kickstart Helix program and are currently producing professional development and networking events for producers, as well as other events and workshops.
